PostSubject: Hook action figures   Tue Feb 24, 2009 1:40 am

Wow. I was just looking at the toy gallery and there's a lot of Hook toys I've never seen before. Me and my cousins had most of wave 1 when we were little and I had the strike tank. Does anyone know more details or have good pictures of the second wave? Also, did they ever make that pirate ship or is that just a prototype?

Here are some pics of the Hook line from a Mattel dealer catalog back in 1992. The first pic is the second series figures, rufio and tink not being produced. The small boat was released but the nevertree playset wasn't. The pirate ship unfortunately never made it to production either. If you need any more info let me know.

Those pictures are really nice, thanks a lot! Did Mattel make similar advertisements for wave 1 of the toyline?

Hi guys.

I remember some of you from the Hook board on the now-defunct Spielberg Forums.

I just managed to score Smee and Food-Fighting Pan on eBay this morning. There was also a Battle Swing Pan, but I didn't get it. I'm incredibly stoked to finally have those two at least; I've been searching for Smee since 1992! Plus I've never, ever seen those figures on eBay and I've been looking since 2005.

Congrats on getting smee and food fighting pan. It took me a long time to complete my set as well. Hook series 2 figures are definitely some of the hardest to find figures for a toy line.

It sucks that I didn't manage to snag the Battle Swing Pan, but then again I never thought I'd find any of those last three... so there's hope I'll come across Battle Swing Pan again.

I guess with you, me, and Kyle that makes three confirmed people with the rare second series figures. That's three more than I thought existed a year ago, lol.

Strangely enough, even though Thud Butt is Series 2 figure, he's one of the easiest to find. I have 5 MOC Thud Butts, and I remember that figure being abundant on store shelves as a kid (in Australia). I wonder what the heck went on with the distribution if Thud Butt and Swiss Army Hook were available, but not any of the other Series 2 figures. And I don't think it's just that they were short-packed in cases, because I remember getting a store employee to crack open a fresh case and look for Smee when I was 6... not there of course.

PostSubject: Series 2 Action Figures   Sun Jul 25, 2010 5:08 pm

I have been looking for a good Hook website for a very long time. I recently found this ewebsite and LOVE that it has a forum. I can't wait for the new updates! Anyways I am looking for 4 of the series 2 action figures: Swiss Army Hook, Food Fighting Pan, Smee, and Thud Butt. If you know where I can find these or have some you would like to sell hit me up! Thanks

PostSubject: Hook merchandise   Thu Aug 19, 2010 4:05 am

I know its not the second series for the action figures, but I just completed my deluxe series and I got a whole box of the trading cards, the Hook taddy bear, the squirt gun, comic series, the movie adaption, a magazine, the lunch box with the thermos and the attack raft for like 30 bucks! So I am very excited lol.

Wow! Great deal! Where did you find all this - ebay, a flea market...?
I saw a box of unopened Hook cards last week at a flea market.

Yes I found it on ebay. I look on there just about every day lol. I would like to complete the second series, but they are so rare you hardly ever see them. So I am focusing on getting all the other merchandise right now. Let me know if you find anything you don't need Smile

I found more pictures of the Nevertree.
It's the same tree but differents colors. The hole where we can see peter pan food fighting is a gate with a face in the tree texture.

And i found pictures of the wind coaster and the double coaster but in a better version (sculpture and texture).

(I add picture soon)
